Our next FIDE-rated weekender will take place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April.
The event will feature four sections:
Open, Under 2000, Under 1650, and ECF Under 1400
All sections are five-round Swiss tournaments (not knockout), and all players must be Gold or Platinum members of the English Chess Federation.
Schedule and Time Control
Open, U2000, and U1650 Sections
Round 1: Friday, 18:30
Rounds 2 & 3: Saturday, 10:00 and 15:00
Rounds 4 & 5: Sunday, 10:00 and 15:00
Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move
My First Tournament (U1400 Section)
Saturday: 10:30, 13:30, and 16:30
Sunday: 11:00 and 14:00
Time control: 60 minutes + 30 seconds per move
Players may request up to two half-point byes (excluding the final round).

Venue and Facilities
All congresses are held at the London Mindsports Centre, a dedicated chess and mindsports venue with an on-site bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as toasted sandwiches and light refreshments.
Please note that outside food and drink are not permitted, except for medical reasons agreed in advance with the organiser.

Discounted entry fee: £25 for women, girls, and titled players (GM/WGM/IM/WIM)
All participants must hold ECF Gold or Platinum membership.
