The new London Chess League season starts today, with over 400 fixtures over eight divisions. The Eastman Cup will also be taking place again this season.

Following the departure of multiple recent winners Wood Green from the League, the First Division should be particularly competitive this season.

London Women Hou, the narrow winners of the Women’s Division, will be seeing if they can retain their title from last season.
